1. Who we are

Beginner Codes is an online programming education platform operated by Beginner Codes, India. You can reach us at aravindsamy2244@gmail.com.

2. What we provide

  • Free course access. All lessons, interactive exercises and the in-browser code editor are free to use. No payment is required to learn.
  • Paid verified certificates. On completing a course you may optionally purchase a verified certificate. This is a digital product delivered to your account.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
  • One account per person. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
  • You may delete your account at any time by emailing us.

4. Pricing and payment

  • All prices are displayed and charged in Indian Rupees (INR). The price of each certificate is shown on the course before you pay, and the total including the platform fee is shown at checkout.
  • Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank credentials.
  • A certificate is issued to your account once the payment gateway confirms the payment.
  • We may change prices at any time. A change never affects a purchase already completed.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refunds & Cancellations policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, resell, redistribute or publish our course content without written permission.
  • Use the in-browser code execution environment to attempt to attack, overload or gain unauthorised access to any system.
  • Attempt to forge, alter or misrepresent a certificate.
  • Use automated means to scrape the platform or create accounts in bulk.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

7. Intellectual property

All course content, lesson text, exercises, diagrams, branding and site design remain the property of Beginner Codes. Code you write in the editor remains yours.

8. Certificates

  • A certificate confirms that you completed the stated course on this platform. It is not an accredited academic qualification and does not represent credit from any university or government body.
  • We may revoke a certificate obtained through fraud or misrepresentation, without refund.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Lessons, features and pricing may change as the platform develops.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of employment or business opportunity.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the revised terms.
